Learning hands-on how your cheese is made is one of the best ways to engage students. Cheese is a science and will get your students excited about agriculture, science, and cheese.

Tour includes: Guided Farm in-depth Farm Tour to Learn About Cheese & Dairy Farming on Ferndale Farmstead.

*Please note if class sizes are bigger that 10-15 make a note of that in an email and we will find the best accommodation for the group.

Seed-to-Cheese Farm Tour

Tour Time: 1 hour Cost: $75.00 (group size of 5)

An additional $15 will be added per person if group size exceeds the 5 group maximum

This is a great opportunity for cheese lovers. Get a behind the farm scene look at how Ferndale Farmstead operates to make the cheese on your table! Learn from the farmer/cheesemaker.

Tour includes: Guided Creamery Tour from Cheese windows. Guided Farm Tour of milk parlor, farm, free-stall barns, and a personal and up close expierence in our calf barns. Group Tours will end at the Cheese Stand Shop and take home 1 log of our award winning Fresh Mozzarella.
